Milestones in Language Technology

  • 2009:Successful development and release of the Afan koshur Naksh Font for Kashmiri Language.
  • 2009: Launch of the first version of the Kashmiri Phonetic Keyboard to support digital typing using Afan Koshur Naksh.
  • 2010:Development of Paradigm Based Morphological Analyzer for Kashmiri.
  • 2013:Development of Part of Speech Tagger for Kashmiri using HMM.
  • 2014:Development of Part of Speech Tagger for Kashmiri using CRF.
  • 2023:Development of Word Sense Disambiguation for Kashmiri Language using Supervised Learning
  • 2025:Release of the comprehensive Trilingual Dictionary (English-Kashmiri-Hindi) as a foundational resource.
  • 2025:Successful development and release of the Elnaz Nastaliq Kashmiri Font, adhering to Unicode standards.
